Chicks are starting to arrive! We are so excited for our first batch of chicks from our champion birds. 3 so far have safely arrived. More to come. If you are interested in chicks, please let us know.

The Spokane Interstate Fair was great! The chickens did wonderful! Willy Wonka was the star AGAIN! Taking home a blue and Best of Breed! My two hens, Sweet cheeks and Joy were blue and red. The trio took home a red also. We had a great time and chickens really did great. We look forward to October!

Our next show will be coming up this Tuesday through Friday! So excited, as the show is double American Poultry Association double points and American Bantam Association single pointed. The only thing that has come up so far is one of my hens for my Trio has decided that she wants to set on her 14 some eggs... Every hen has layed in one spot, now she has taken on the task to set on them. So I had to pull in another hen to show with my trio. So excited!

West Plains Fair - We had a wonderful time showing our birds at the West Plains Fair this Year. They did very well, and handled the show scene very well! Placings were:
~ 4 Blues and 2 Reds
~ Champion Cockerel and Champion Pullet
~ Best Bantam and Reserve Best Bantam
~ Over All Reserve Champion Exhibit (Young Trio of Black Japanese!)
